How we write the notes
Where the ingredient names come from
AI reads the ingredient names from the label photo you take. The person who sends the photo then checks the list and corrects it to match the real label before sending.
Before anything is published
Our team compares the photo with the ingredient list line by line before anyone else sees it. This is not an expert review. If we cannot compare it, or the photo is unclear, we do not publish it.
Ingredient notes
The note for each ingredient is written by AI and marked as such until a person has opened and checked the source. An evidence label (well documented, still debated, limited evidence) only says how much information exists. It does not say good or bad.
No scores
We do not score products or brands, and we do not say which product suits you.
We do not take money to change explanations
We do not accept money from brands to change, speed up or remove ingredient explanations in this app. If we ever offer a service that a brand pays for, we will say so here.
Product owners can ask for a correction
If you make or sell a product and an ingredient list here does not match the real label, write to hello@chalaksai.com with a photo of the label. We will check it, correct or withdraw the entry, and reply as soon as we can.
What a label does not say
A label does not show amounts, so we cannot say how much of anything is in a product.
Not medical advice
Everything here is general information. If you have a health or skin concern, please ask a doctor or pharmacist.
